Ohko Waterfall is the highest waterfall in the Kyushu area, with a drop of 88 meters. The volume of water is tremendous, and the sight of the waterfall dynamically flowing down with a powerful splash is overwhelming.
The waterfall is also popular as a summer resort, and you can walk right up to the bottom of the waterfall to enjoy the splash and feel the force of the waterfall up close. There is also a spring near the waterfall called "Okawa Spring" which is said to be good for health.
