Manza Karabuki is located in Manza Onsen, close to Kaaruizawa, a hot spring resort at an altitude of 1,800 meters that many people visit for hot spring cures.

This is the site of a former volcanic crater, where rainwater and groundwater seeping into the crater become steam and spew out volcanic gases including hydrogen sulfide gas and sulfurous gas.

As a result, the area is filled with the smell of sulfur, and the scenery is not just magnificent, but also a rare sight, as there are not many places where you can see a crater from such a close distance.
