Chinen Castle Ruins

Chinen Castle was built at the end of the 13th century in Chinen, Nanjo City, Okinawa Prefecture. It is a nationally designated historic site with a magnificent arch gate that is made up of two walls called Migusuku (new castle) and Kugusuku (old castle). Migusuku is piled with cut stones, and Kugusuku is piled with natural stone.
