Mt. Iino, also known as "Sanuki Fuji" as Mt. Fuji in Kagawa, is a mountain with an altitude of about 422m that straddles Marugame City and Sakaide City. It is also derived from the fact that it has a beautiful shape like Mt. Fuji, some people call Mt. Iino "Kagawa Prefecture's Fuji" but it is attracting attention that the natural phenomenon called "Diamond Fuji" seen on Mt. Fuji can also be seen on Sanuki Fuji. You can see the sunrise in mid-April and late August every year, and the moment when the sun rising from the summit of Sanuki Fuji is reflected on the surface of the water showing the two diamonds shimmer is called "Double Diamond Sanuki Fuji". It is a spectacular spot visited by many photo enthusiasts and viewers from inside and outside the prefecture because it is a precious scenery that can only be seen twice a year. The view of Sanuki Fuji seen from Miya-ike Pond was selected as the 88 views of Shikoku in 2020.
