This spring is located in the Tamagusuku area in the southern part of Nanjo City, and is called "Ufugaa" by the locals. The sloping road leading from the village is paved with stones, preserving the old-fashioned atmosphere. This is the only place in the prefecture with a Goemon bath (a large iron kettle-shaped bathtub - goemonburo), which is very precious. The building was designated as a national important cultural property in 1995.
