Mount Tsurugi, located in Tokushima Prefecture, is the second-highest mountain in western Japan after Ishizuchi and has been selected as one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan. The mountain is very popular for walking and climbing courses and is loved by the locals. During the autumn foliage season, you can see a sacred scene from the top of Mt. Tsurugi as if maple trees grow out from under a sea of clouds.
