A nationally designated scenic spot "Agatsuma Gorge" so-called "Yabakei of the Kanto region" is a valley of the Agatsuma River that stretches from Higashiagatsuma Town in Gunma Prefecture to Naganohara Town. Agatsuma Gorge is a famous spot for autumn leaves and broad-leaved forests such as maple, oak, and Carpinus tschonoskii. Full bloom season is from mid-October to early November every year.
