Mimo Shrine in Ichinomiya City is a historic shrine that was founded in 1045 and has been revered as a guardian deity of the textile and dyeing industries that have been popular since ancient times. It is also well known as a famous place for hydrangeas, about 70 kinds of white and purple hydrangeas, 8,000 plants are in full bloom in June when the hydrangea festival is held. The colorful hydrangeas floating in the Chozuya - the ceremonial place where worshippers wash their hands, mouth, and handle of the water ladle to purify themselves before approaching the shrine, has become a hot topic mainly on SNS because of its unusual eye-catching appearance.

    Get off at JR Owari Ichinomiya Station. Change to a bus from the Meitetsu Ichinomiya Station bus terminal and get off at the Bisai Chosha bus stop. Walk about 15 minutes
