Tetsugaku-no-michi (Road of Philosophy) is located in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto. There are about 500 cherry blossom trees planted along both banks of the Lake Biwa canal for about 2 km, between Nyakuoji Bridge and Jodoji Bridge. In spring and in fall when the leaves change color, the street is filled with many tourists.
