Headquartered in Hitachinaka City, this railroad provides a connection to Ibaraki. The 14.3 kilometer line has a total of 10 stations, beginning with Katsuta Station and ending at Ajigaura Station, a ride that takes about 25 minutes. Surrounding Nakane Station, the vast countryside makes it feel like the train is running on water. Some tourist attractions such as the Hitachi Seaside Park and Aqua World Oarai Aquarium are also located along the way.
