It is the highest independent peak in Japan at an altitude of 3,776m, straddling Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures. From any position at the foot of the mountain, the shape is slightly different, and you can enjoy the elegant appearance along with the rich nature and sky. In 2013, it was registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site.
