Japan's largest archeological site of a Jomon period village (from approximately 4,000 to 5,500 years ago). The area opened for public viewing is approximately 50,000 square meters. You can see the building and dwelling remains, mounds, and pillar-supported buildings which have two lines of 3-pillar holes with a diameter and depth of approximately 2 meters.
