Akasoba no Sato (Red Buckwheat Field)
Red buckwheat flowers bloom all over the 4.2 hectare field. Red colored buckwheat flowers are rare in Japan and their seeds brought back all the way from Himaraya were named as ”Takane Ruby” or high-peak ruby.
Kamifuruta, Nakaminowa, Minowa-machi, Kamiina, Nagano
From late September to early October, the flowers bloom all over the field as if a big red carpet is laid.
About 10 minutes from "Ina-Matsushima" station of JR Tokai Iida line.
