Touted as the only Michelin 3-star facility in the Shikoku region. It is the oldest onsen (hot spring) in Japan with more than 3,000 years of history. Its symbol is the Dogo Onsen Honkan (the main building), captured in this photo. Featured as the setting for one Japan's renowned writer Soseki Natsume's novels, it is still a beloved place.
