A UNESCO World Heritage, Kumano Kodo is a pilgrimage path leading to Kumano Sanzan (Kumano Hongu Taisha, Kumano Hayatama Taisha, and Kumano Nachi Taisha). From ancient times to the medieval period, many people had visited Kumano including the grand emperor, empress and commoners. In recent years, this spot is popular as a ”power spot” where people can feel the sense of healing and relaxation.
