The pond, which is known by its name, “Maruike Pond”, is a tradional center of worship, as the fallen trees submerged in the pond are “enshrined”, without getting decomposed, as if they are dragons. The surface of this 3.5m-deep pond, spanning 20m across sparkles in a beautiful shade of emerald green, as its sole source of the water is an underground spring.
