Oshinkoshin Waterfall

A waterfall situated near the mouth of the Charassenai River in Hokkaido. The waterfall is approximately 80 m tall, and is sometimes called “Waterfall of Twin Beauty” as falling water splits into two at the middle. Visitors can climb stairs to the middle of the waterfall.

Point
The lush greens and the white splash from the waterfall in the summer are beautiful. Visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of the sea of Okhotsk from the observation deck on top of the waterfall.

Take a bus for Utoro from the “Shiretoko Shari Station” on the JR Lines to “Utoro” stop, and walk for 10 minutes.
