This coast is known for one of the most beautiful in Nishi-Izu, and it has been proclaimed to be the best in Japan as well. There are many strangely shaped rocks around this beach, and that become the highlight of the whimsical view the setting sun creates as it changes their colors. It is popular during the summer as a swimming beach as well.

Around the spring and the autumn equinoxes, the sun sets between Tagoshima's Ojima island and Mashima island, creating an exquisite contrast with a strangely shaped rock called "Meganecho."
1 hour 25-minute ride on the Tokai Bus bound for Matsuzaki from "Shuzenji Station" on the Izu Hakone Railway Sunzu Line. 5-minute walk after getting off at the "Otago" bus stop.
