Sotomo Caves and Cliffs
Sotomo Caves and Cliffs

Famous for magnificent stone arches carved into the granite cliffs by strong ocean waves. Two of the arches, Daimon (Large Gate) and Shomon (Small Gate), have eroded over time to become wide enough for a boat to pass through. There are other rock formations in addition to the arches, such as the Meotokame Rock (which looks like two turtles), and Karabune Island (which looks like a boat).
