Kumano Fireworks Festival

Aug. Night

Fireworks display conducted in the picturesque scenery of Onigajo and Shichirimihama. The highlights of the show are the "Kaijo Jibaku," where two ships sail on the ocean carrying lit up fireworks that they set off for to burst in a semicircular shape, and the "Onigajo Daishikake," in which the fireworks set to burst are placed directly in a rocky area.
