Lake Chuzenji
Lake Chuzenji

Lake Chuzenji was formed when the flow of a river was blcoked after an eruption of nearby Mt. Nantai. Because of its mild climate, more than 100 years ago the area around the lake was known as a resort for resident foreigners. During the fall, visitors are able to enjoy the beautifully multi-hued foliage from the sightseeing boats.
