Momijidani Park (Maple Valley Park) is situated at the bottom of the Misen Old Growth Forest and is listed as a National Natural Monument. As its name indicates, the park is known as one of the greatest fall foliage destinations in Japan. In autumn, approximately 700 maple trees begin to turn red at the same time, an incredible scene that extends throughout the entire park.
