Aokigahara Forest

A beautiful, green forested area formed by lava that flowed when Mt. Nagao erupted in 864. There are many spots protected as national natural monuments, such as the 200m Fugaku Wind Caves and the entire 150m length of the Narusawa Ice Cave, which averages a temperature of 0C.
