Oct. Morning

This pond is located in the vast primordial forest of the Northern Yasugatake Volcanic Group and, at an elevation of 2,115 meters, is the highest pond in Japan. A mystical world of moss-covered ancient trees encircles it. In autumn, the surrounding trees create a scenic tapestry of red, yellow, and green. The autumn leaves reflected on the pond's surface are indescribably beautiful.
