Fujikawaguchiko Autumn Leaves Festival
Nov.
Near the Nashigawa River, the main event area is at Momoji-kairo (maple corridor), an avenue of about 60 massive, brilliantly red maple trees. On the northern bank of Lake Kawaguchi, maple trees cover a popular length of road known as the "Tunnel of Autumn Leaves." Momiji-kairo when illuminated at night and Mount Fuji under the glow of the moon are both must-sees.
