Kakeroma-jima Island
Kakeroma-jima Island

Kakeroma-jima is an island situated between Kagoshima Prefecture and Okinawa Prefecture. Its mountain range is covered in a subtropical rainforest with the Okinawan Banyan trees and from afar, it looks just like a long and narrow strip of forest floating on the sea. You will feel like you have stepped into another world and time seems to slow down once you landed on the island, surrounded by the clear blue sea and lush greenery.
