Matsumae Park is a huge park that encompasses Matsumae Castle, the temple district, and the tourist center, Matsumae Clan Mansion. There are two cherry blossom gardens, a rose garden, a peony garden, as well as another garden that sits a hill overlooking Matsumae Park and Tsugaru Strait. Other than cherry blossoms, you can also find hydrangea, camellia, and many other flowers in the park.
