Senshu Park
Senshu Park

The park was built on the ruins of Kubota Castle, which was home to the Satake clan, rulers of Akita domain, in the Edo period. Other than a corner turret and the main castle gate, it also houses the Satake Historical Museum and Hirano Masakichi Museum of Art. The park has also been chosen as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. Here, you can find many seasonal flowers, such as the cherry blossoms, azalea flowers and irises. It is also listed in Japan's Top 100 Historical Parks, so why don't you take a walk here and experience the historical and cultural aspects of the park?
