Inokashira Park was opened in 1917 as the first suburban park in Japan. In the park, you can find Ochanomizu (the spring water cherished by Tokugawa Ieyasu), Inokashira Pond (the water source for Kanda River), Gotenyama, and recreation facilities on the west side of the park. The park is a great place to spend your time in any season. In spring, you can see the cherry blossoms from Nanai Bridge; in summer, you can take a walk under the trees; in autumn, the red maple trees; and in winter, the snowy landscape. It is one of the few parks in Musashino where you can take a walk, row a boat, and when the weekends come, you can also enjoy the art market and performances from street artists.
