Located along the upstream of Tamagawa River, Koganei Park is a huge park with spacious grassy areas, tree groves, a cherry blossom garden, children's playgrounds, an archery range, a locomotive display (C57 model), and 16 tennis courts among others. There are many things to do for visitors to the city park.

Via. JR Chuo Line:
1. Take the train to Musashi-Koganei Station (30 minutes from Shinjuku Station)
- Take the Seibu bus from bus stop 2 or 3 at the North Exit and get off at Koganei Park West Exit, or
- Take the Kanto Bus bound for Mitaka Station from bus stop 4 at the North Exit and get off at "Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural
Museum-mae", "Koganei Park-mae", or "Sports Center entrance".
2. Take the train to Higashi-Koganei Station (25 minutes from Shinjuku Station)
- Take the CoCo bus from the bus stop at North Exit and get off at "Koganei Park entrance" or "Tatemono entrance".
Via. Seibu Shinjuku Line:
1. the train to Hana-Koganei Station (25 minutes by express train from Takadanobaba Station)
- Walk along the Koganei Street to "Minamihana Koganei" bus stop and take the Seibu Bus bound for Musashi-Koganei Station and get off at "Koganei Park West Exit".
