Sumatakyo Valley is a very dynamic and interesting place, with stunning autumn leaves in the fall. Hot springs and the famous ”Yume no Tsuribashi suspension bridge” are the main magnetic places here. The suspension bridge spans across the lake with an emerald green surface, which is formed by a dam.

The best time to visit is spring when the leaves begin to grow until the beginning of autumn when the leaves turn into a real fire. The Yume no Tsuribashi suspension bridge has only simple boards as a base for walking, therefore people who are afraid of heights should avoid it. During crowded times, it becomes a one-way passage, so once you started you can't go back.
From Oigawa Railway's Senzu Station, take the Oigawa Road Bus bound for Sumatakyo (around 40min) and get off at "Sumatakyo Onsen"
