Okazaki Park was established on the former site of National Industrial Exhibition in 1895. The park is not just about the outdoor activities; it is also a cultural hub and you can find an art museum, a library, the ROHM Theatre Kyoto, and a zoo here. In spring, the Okazaki Cherry Blossom Corridor, as it is called, blooms in a spectacular display of pink along the canal. You can get on the boat operating along the canal to enjoy the blossoms.
