Cherry Blossoms at Hii River
Cherry Blossoms at Hii River

This spot in front of Kisuki Station has a row of cherry trees stretching for about 2km along Hii River. There are some 800 Yoshino cherries planted, and in 1990, it was listed in Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. During the peak season from end-March to early-April every year, the cherry blossoms will be illuminated by paper lanterns in the evening. It also holds a 2-day festival during the period, featuring a wide range of activities.
