A prosperous town located along Isuzu River in front of the inner shrine of Ise Jingu. The 800 meters stone-paved walkway is lined with several traditional wooden buildings with a variety of gabled roofs. These buildings house souvenir shops, Ise Udon restaurants, local cuisine restaurants serving tekone sushi, Japanese sweet shop, and ryokans among others. There are also several historical buildings, such as the Jingu Dojo, in this area, and you can take a walk in this old quaint town at your own pace.
