The valley is located a 20-minute walk away from Nojiri Station. There are many places of interest here such as Kiso-go-boku (five trees of Kiso) and Senjo Rock. You can also enjoy the verdant fresh green in spring, and the autumn colors in fall. On the natural trail built on the site of the former forest railway, you can fish for Japanese salmon and chars in the river. It is also known for the Bigansui (water of pretty face) spring. Legend has it that washing your face with the water will make your skin fair and smooth.
