A symbolic islet of Noto Peninsula floating on the sea right in front of a beach. It looks like an approaching warship and sometimes is called "Gunkanjima" which means "warship" in Japanese. The atmosphere at night is really romantic as the island is illuminated. At low tide, you can walk to the island, just be careful. Mitsukejima has got a "Certificate of Excellence" on TripAdvisor in 2017 and 2018.
