Mount Tenjo is located on the hiking trail leading to Mitsutoge in Yamanashi and serves as the setting of a Japanese folklore, Kachi-kachi Yama. The observation deck near the summit is accessible by the ropeway from the jetty. On really clear days, you can even see Mount Fuji and the Southern Alps.
