Stretching 1.6 km from Asato Sansaro to the Prefectural Hall North Entrance Intersection, this is the liveliest street in Okinawa. Before World War II it was wetlands, but the area developed rapidly after being converted to a road by the American military. In modern times, it's become Naha's main street, bustling with visitors and lined with restaurants, souvenir shops, and more.
