Hakone Venetian Glass Museum
The museum is located in Sengokuhara, Hakone. This is Japan's first museum to specialize in Venetian glasses. There is a museum shop that offers interior glass and miscellaneous goods, a workshop where you can experience glasswork, and a restaurant where you can eat while listening to Canzone. The Venetian Glass Museum became a trend among aristocrats from the 15th to the 18th centuries, and the modern Venetian glass, which came into the limelight again in the latter half of the 19th century, is exhibited here. There are also two collections of the Museum of Contemporary Glass.
