Hakone Venetian Glass Museum
The museum, located in Sengokuhara in Hakone, is Japan's first museum to specialize in Venetian glasses. There are two collections in the museum. Housed in the Venetian Glass Museum are Venetian glasses that were once popular among aristocrats from the 15th to the 18th century, and in the Venetian Modern Glass Museum, are modern Venetian glasses from the latter half of 19th century. You can also find a museum shop selling glass interiors and accessories, a workshop where you can make your own glass art, and a restaurant where you can enjoy a live canzone performance during your meal. You will be sure to enjoy your time here.
