Morito Beach
- 森戸海岸
- Kamakura
Morito Beach is one of the largest sandy beach in Hayama. The water off the coast is shallow and it is an extremely popular place to watch the sunset in Miura Peninsula. If you look out at the sea from the beach, you can see Najima island, Hayama Lighthouse, as well as Enoshima and Mount Fuji in the distance. It is also the site for the fireworks festival, so it can get really crowded with families and others during the swimming season in summer. Although the beach is at its best in summer, it is also a sight to behold in winter when the sky is clear.
