Tanize Suspension Bridge
The 54-meter tall and 297-meter long Tanize Suspension Bridge is longest daily-use suspension bridge in Japan. Only a maximum of 20 people can cross the bridge at any one time. Crossing the bridge is a thrilling—the bridge sways with every step you take—yet breathtaking experience with mountains towering over you and the clear waters of Totsukawa River flowing under your feet. On the other side of the bridge, you can find the remains of Kuroki Imperial Palace, and in spring, you can enjoy the cherry blossoms as you cross the bridge.
