Bluff No.111 Residence
The western-style building, located at the southern tip of Harbor View Park, was built in 1926 as the residence for an American, Mr. Laffin. It was designed by J.H. Morgan, who also designed Yokohama Christ Church and Berrick Hall. Go down the path that cut through the lawn and you will reach the building, marked by an arched porch at the entrance. The residence is a beautiful Spanish-style mansion with white walls and beautiful red-tiled roof, while the interior is reminiscence of a western-style building in the 1950s. Inside, you can find an exhibit on the architect Morgan and a cafe in the basement where you can enjoy the lovely rose garden while you sip on a cup of tea.
