The Nameless Pond is often considered, most especially on the internet, as the embodiment of Monet’s famous series of masterpieces, the “Water Lilies.” Located within the vicinity of the Nemichi Shrine, the water in the pond is so transparent that you can clearly make out the swimming carp beneath, as well as the underwater grass. Depending on the lighting during the day, visitors can enjoy the fantastic view of the pond, with its transparent emerald green hues.
