Kumagawa River Cruise
The Kumagawa river is a first-class river that flows through the Hitoyoshi Basin in south Kumamoto, and beginning with Kawabe Dam, passes through Yatsushiro Plains and pours out towards Yatsushiro Sea. One of the most famous sightseeing activities in Hitoyoshi City is to go on the Kumagawa River Cruise, where visitors can experience a thrilling ride along the torrents of the river, which spans 10 km from Watari to the Kyusen Caves.
