With a length of 75.6m and a height of 20.2m, Tsujunkyo Bridge is Japan's largest stone-arched aqueduct bridge, and has been designated a national cultural property. It was built in 1954 by stone craftsmen to save the citizens from water shortage. There are seasons when water is released from the aqueduct for the benefit of tourists who wish to see it closely. In 2014 it was declared as a "Heritage Irrigation Structure."
