Aug.

Mining activities were carried out in this town from the 16th to 20th century, and the remains of this can still be seen in the area. About 2.8km north and south of Ginzan, remnants of the old town, such as temples, private houses, merchant and samurai houses, and traditional inns are still present. Ruins of a castle are still around, indicating traces of a battle long ago. Ryugenji temple walk is open to the public, allowing access around the town. Visitors can also enjoy walking tours accompanied by guides.
