Sengan-en (Isotei-en) Gardens
Considered a World Heritage Site, it is a beautiful garden with views of Kagoshima Bay, Sakurajima Volcano and Tsukiyama. It was built by Mitsuhisa Shimazu as a separate residence of the family in 1658. Visitors can enjoy the different seasons in the majestic landscapes of the garden. Adjacent to the garden is an old collection hall with historical cultural artifacts displayed.
