Daikozenji Temple
The temple has its origins from the Tendai sect of Buddhism. Its deity is the 11-faced Kannon. The temple is one of the refuges of the Kyushu 33 Pilgrimage for Kannon Bosatsu. It is also known as "Azalea temple" for the beautiful azalaea flowers that bloom around it.
