Jindaiji temple is well-known as a temple of marriage and match-making. The abundance of nature all around it blesses and heals worshippers throughout all four seasons. "Yakuyoke-Ganzandaishi Taisai" is a festival held here from March 3-4 in commemoration of the monk Yakuyoke-Ganzandaishi through the purchase of Daruma Dolls. It is one of Japan's greatest Daruma Doll festivals. Visitors can also enjoy the famous Jindaiji soba which are sold in the shops and restaurants along the temple neighborhood.
